About Us

Founded in 2014, DMO Group is a boutique executive search firm with offices in New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Our goal is to provide client-centric, tailored executive search and strategic advisory to select partners across the financial services industry, including investment management, alternative investments, and private wealth management in Asia and the Americas. Our international reach paired with local market knowledge enables us to provide our clients with a holistic view on their industry, and to assess their organisational structures against a credible benchmark.

We use a rigorous research driven search process to identify the best fit for our clients, taking into equal consideration both hard and soft skill sets.  
Our extensive experience in executive search has yielded a robust approach to market intelligence and a longstanding network of global relationships. Meet the Team

Ravinder Dillon
Founder & Managing Partner
Ravi co-founded DMO Group in 2014 and is a Managing Partner specializing in the Private Wealth, Asset Management and Investment Banking industries in Asia-Pacific, and the US. Before launching DMO Group, he was leading the global human resources and recruitment function for a technology start-up, where he helped grow the firm from 15 staff to 90+ globally over a 4-year period. Ravi started his career with a global executive search firm based in Hong Kong, later joining an Asia focused boutique where he completed several Asia investment banking and private banking buildouts for international financial institutions. Ravi is a Director of 'GDF', a local charity which helps to assist disconnected Hong Kong children to re-engage with their community through sports. He was born and raised in Hong Kong and educated in the UK, where he received a BA from Manchester Metropolitan University. He speaks fluent English and Cantonese.

Sujan Melwani
Founder & Managing Partner
Sujan co-founded the firm in 2014 and is a Managing Partner with a focus on the Private Wealth/Family Office, Asset Management, and Alternative Investment industries in the US and Asia. Prior to founding DMO Group, he started his career with a leading global executive search firm, based in Hong Kong and then New York. He was a senior consultant responsible for covering senior level positions in the private banking, long only and alternative asset management industries in Asia and the Americas.
Sujan was born in the United States, raised in Hong Kong and educated in Canada where he attended the University of Toronto.

James O'Shea
Founder & Managing Partner
James co-founded DMO Group in 2014 and is a Managing Partner, with a focus on the Asset and Alternative Investment Management industries globally. Prior to founding DMO Group, he spent several years at a startup software visualization company focused on providing human capital and compensation data to top tier financial institutions globally. He started his career at a boutique executive search firm where he partnered with leading Global Asset / Alternative Investment Management and Investment Banking Platforms across Asia Pacific. James received a MSc Occupational / Organizational Psychology from the University of Surrey and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Hertfordshire.
